William and Marga play so well together.They manage many snail apartments.
Marga is very independent
And also very beautiful....
She is a great helper for Mommy and Eric.
William wants to be the fastest runner...

And he is a first class swimmer.
Eric is happy with his wonderful siblings.
But they do make him tired!

Mike's birthday

We went to Bucca de Beppo to celebrate Mike's birthday. We enjoyed a HUGE Italian dinner! Karen was there too. I  finished his quilt about one hour before we had to leave!

Finally ....blue skies

Another heavy, puffy, blankety snow!! And a late start for school.. the principal loves it as much as the students.
It's always a treat to be the first one to make footprints.

Winter

Is there anything prettier than a cardinal in a snow-flocked tree? We had a wonderful, heavy, big- flakes snow last week. I didn't take many pictures, but this one is worth posting. He's one of my regular visitors and was probably hatched in our rose trellis. Check my older post of June 20, 2007.

Christmas 2008 in Konstanz

Katy and William make sure we all are feeling the spirit of Christmas.
The Weihnachtsmart was also helpful; greens, people, gifts to buy.

I would have loved to buy it all!!
Fourth Advent Sunday is a special Sunday in South Germany. We enjoyed a beautiful brunch with friends.
And then it was Christmas.......

New Year's eve meant sparklers on the balcony. 
William can play his fantasy games for long periods of time. Lions, knights, dinosaurs, and Batman, all interacting without a glitch.
Marga blew us all away with her puzzle skills.
We all looked forward to "quiet time" which meant a show or video for the kids and a short period of respite for the exhausted!!
