On vacation in Austria

As soon as I arrived in Germany we took off for Austria. We rented an apartment at a real farm. We hiked. Rode a gondola to the top of a mountain, and enjoyed the lakes, the playgrounds, and most of all: the grandchildren.

This is the farmhouse where we stayed.


We also made a one day side trip to Munich where we had lunch at the Hofbrauhaus. A place we used to sing about in Holland during Carnaval, but which I had never visited!! Even the German "Hoempa band" was playing!
