Holly

I promised William to post some Holly pictures. When you say,"Where is William?" to Holly she perks up her ears as if to say,"Well, where the heck is he?" She spend lots of time on the back of the couch to see if anyone is coming.

Holly loves people, big people and little people. Every time we have a visitor Holly is the welcoming committee with lots of wagging and running circles around the yard and panting and jumping. Lately the yard has been muddy and the jumping gets a little embarrassing but most people don't seem to mind. Who can resist being greeted in such an exuberant way.

Holly loves to watch T.V. with grandpa and eat peanuts.

She also loves to go outside and come back in. "Hello in there let me in, woof, woof ."

Most of all Holly loves to sleep!!!!

For Easter vacation we went to Assateague National Seashore. Holly loved walking on the beach even though she was not allowed off her leash. Oma tried to sunbathe!!!!

Next trip to
the beach
we hope will
be warmer!!

Grandpa has been working very hard this winter and just in time for Spring..... the Adirondack chairs are finished. Aren't they beautiful?

They have a name on the front and you can pull out a leg rest or fold them up to put away. I think Grandpa is a real artist.

In a few weeks we are going to start on our new patio (we hope). It'll be wonderful to sit on our new patio in our Adirondack chairs and watch the birds.

The Whale Walk

After weeks and months of hard work taking PSSA tests, writing books for Young Authors, and reading books for the Reading Olympics, it was time for RELAXATION. Our whole school took an hour's walk in the field with our mascot Willie the Whale. In between walking we did the Hokey Pokey and the Chicken Dance. There was music and dancing, we loved it!

Roland Smith visits our school.

And here is Oma with the famous author Roland Smith. Our Young Authors Conference was a huge success. Roland Smith told us "If you can read, you can do anything!" He also showed us how to plan and research for writing a book. It was great!
